Embracing Change: Redefining Menopause Together
We’re thrilled to welcome you to this special screening, hosted by For Her Benefit, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women through education, self-love, and community. In alignment with our mission, we’re excited to bring you a film that courageously sheds light on one of the most transformative—and often misunderstood—stages in a woman’s life: menopause.
For many women, menopause can affect every facet of life, from physical well-being to mental health, and can create ripple effects in relationships, careers, and personal self-identity. At For Her Benefit, we believe that every woman deserves to navigate this transition with understanding, confidence, and compassion. Yet, despite its universal impact, menopause is rarely spoken about openly, leaving many women feeling isolated, misunderstood, and even lost in their own bodies.
The (M) Factor documentary is a powerful tool to break through that silence, exposing the layers of menopause’s impact on self-worth, relationships with partners, family dynamics, and professional life. By sharing the stories of real women, the film encourages viewers to explore menopause not just as a phase of change but as an opportunity for growth, connection, and self-discovery.
This event doesn’t end with the film. We invite you to stay for a discussion with our expert panelists, including Dr. Leigh Lewis, a Menopause Specialist; Dr. Julie Hinman, an HRT Specialist; Rachel Thomas, MA, LMFT, a therapist specializing in women’s health and relationships; Laurie Handlers, author of Sex and Happiness: It Only Gets Better with Age, who brings a fresh perspective on sexual empowerment in later life; and Drs. Jocelyn and Jordan, affectionately known as The Vagina Docs and Danielle Haines-Panzer, a soon to be Menopause Coach. These dedicated professionals will share practical insights and support, addressing questions about hormonal health, mental and emotional well-being, relationships and the importance of self-care during this life stage.
Whether you’re approaching menopause, in the midst of it, or supporting someone on this journey, this screening offers you the chance to gain knowledge, find support, and join a community of women committed to taking control of their health and well-being. Join us as we celebrate and honor the strength, resilience, and empowerment that comes from embracing menopause together.
